As an espresso, Mighty Moka produces a rich and smooth coffee with a clean finish. It is particularly well suited to a long black, where its natural sweetness, low perceived acidity and full-bodied character remain clear in the cup.
Milk softens the coffee without hiding it. In a latte, cappuccino or flat white, Mighty Moka provides a creamy and balanced result with lingering chocolate-like notes.

Freshly Roasted for Better Flavour
The coffee used in Mighty Moka is roasted in Melbourne before being prepared and packed into capsules.
Controlling the coffee selection, roast development and blending process allows us to produce a fresher and more distinctive result than generic capsule coffees purchased as finished products from overseas suppliers.
Each capsule is sealed to protect the ground coffee from oxygen and moisture, helping preserve its aroma, sweetness and flavour until brewing.

Mighty Moka has been specifically developed for capsule extraction rather than simply placing an existing coffee blend into a capsule.
The coffee selection, roast profile, resting period, grind and extraction characteristics have all been considered to create dependable flow, consistent flavour and a satisfying result from a small capsule dose.
For the best flavour, use the espresso or short-cup setting.
When preparing a long black, brew the capsule as a short espresso and add hot water separately. Avoid running excessive water through a single capsule, as this can dilute the coffee and produce unwanted bitterness.
For a large or particularly strong milk coffee, we recommend using two capsules.
Is Mighty Moka Organic?
Mighty Moka is not certified Organic.
It is made using carefully selected conventional coffees and has been developed primarily around flavour, smoothness, body and reliable capsule performance.
Customers seeking certified Organic coffee capsules can choose from our separate Organic capsule range.
Machine Compatibility
Mighty Moka capsules are designed for use with most domestic machines that accept original-style Nespresso-compatible capsules.
They are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo machines, which use a different capsule shape and brewing system.

How are shipping costs calculated : Unfortunately, there are no fixed or universal parcel costs (except satchels, but that means high risk of damage). Freight providers use destination location (postcode), cubic volume (size) and weight to charge. We try our best to offer competitive rates.

Customers often tell us that our coffee capsules are remarkably smooth, naturally sweet and enjoyable even without milk or sugar.
That result comes from careful coffee selection, blending and roast development.
Coffee capsules contain a much smaller dose than a traditional café espresso, so every part of the recipe matters. A capsule may contain around 5–6 grams of coffee, while a café espresso commonly uses approximately 14–20 grams. Producing satisfying flavour, body and strength from that smaller dose requires a coffee specifically designed for capsule brewing.
Arabica and robusta coffees each contribute different qualities.
Arabica is generally prized for sweetness, aroma, complexity and refined flavour. High-quality robusta can contribute body, crema, intensity and naturally higher caffeine. When selected carefully and roasted properly, robusta can produce a smooth, powerful and satisfying cup without harshness.
Our certified Organic capsule range is made exclusively from high-grade arabica coffee for customers who prefer a smooth, sweet and aromatic coffee with certified Organic credentials.
Our Mighty Coffee Capsule range takes a different approach. It uses carefully selected arabica and premium robusta coffees to create greater body, strength and presence, while preserving the smoothness and balance for which our capsules are known.
Rather than relying on excessive roast darkness to create intensity, we develop flavour through thoughtful blending, precision roasting and careful preparation for capsule extraction.
The result is a choice between two distinctive capsule styles:
• Organic, 100% arabica capsules with sweetness, aroma and refined flavour;
• Mighty capsules with greater body, strength and intensity, developed using carefully selected arabica and premium robusta coffees.
Both ranges are freshly roasted in Melbourne and created for customers who expect more from a coffee capsule.

There are less than a dozen capsule plants in Australia, yet more than 2,000 retailers. This means a lot of coffee brands, including many well-known brands are selling outsourced capsules.
Most outsource the entire process, including the important elements of selecting the coffee and roasting.
Despite clever branding and packaging providing an illusion of quality, outsourcing the ingredients inevitably results in cheap, low grade products without traceability.
We do things differently.
Everything is in-house from sourcing raw coffee, roasting, degas, conversion, packaging, selling, shipping, etc. Nothing outsourced means we control the entire end-to-end lifecycle.
Our capsules are precision manufactured and packaged in a co-polymer capsule base manufactured from recycled materials.
We have the industry's best performing capsule base with an OTR rating of 0.0004 cm3/day/capsule, providing effective shelf life of greater than 12 months before reaching 2% O2 level.
Our capsules create a freshness seal that performs up to 10 times better than bio/compostable/recycled capsules.
Materials used in the construction of our co-polymer capsule base require less than 30% of the carbon footprint compared to aluminum.
